CUSTOM FRAMES

Whether you’re framing an antique portrait or a modern landscape, we can create the perfect frame for your artwork.  We have on display many hand crafted moulding samples-with styles ranging from old-world elegance to the clean lines of contemporary design-and are able to create custom designs, if desired.  Hand-carved frames are our specialty.  Taos, Spanish Colonial, Arts & Crafts, and Florentine are a few of our sample carves.  We are also able to create frame styles with cast ornaments.  Our large selection includes casts of our own design, as well as those from antique frames.  All of our frames have finished corners, with no visible corner joints.   Our attention to detail and dedication to quality are visible in every frame we make.

Every frame is hand-finished using time-honored techniques.  We have a variety of finishes to choose from including water-gilded karat gold leaf, gold or silver metal leaf, painted or stained, and several faux examples.  All of our customized finishes allow for the subtle toning, antiquing, and creation of a patina, which can enhance the palette of and add depth and beauty to your artwork.
